Our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students will be going on a field trip to San Diego on Thursday, March 19th.  They will be visiting the San Diego Mission and the USS Midway.  We are so excited for our students to have this opportunity. Thank you for helping to make this trip possible through fundraising efforts.   

Thank you to all of our families who submitted Box Tops this year.  Our 2nd submission was for $71.60 that brings our total earnings to $451.60.  That passes our school goal of $400 for the year!!!  Thank you for your support.  Please keep clipping and sending in your box tops.

Thank you for bringing in your Boxtops,  The school will be receiving a check for $304.60 for our November submission. Way to go Mulberry families!!!!

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your input on the addition of collaboration days to our school calendar.   I received many responses from parents who were in favor of them, and also several responses from parents who had very valid concerns.  I appreciate and have taken note of your concerns, and we will be working to address them. 

At the board meeting last night, the board approved the addition of 13 collaboration days to our school calendar.  The collaboration days are listed below.  On these days the students will be dismissed at 12:30, with regular lunch served. 

Collaboration days will provide the staff time to work together to better serve our students and their needs.  This year, with the implementation of the common core standards, I feel it is vital for the Mulberry Team to have the time to collaborate so that we can make the transition better and more effective in meeting the needs of our students.

It is important to understand that on collaboration days all students should be in school as regular assignments, lessons, and assessments will be taking place.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding this matter.
